Hello all -
I am looking forward to meeting many of you tonight and at this meeting!
Unlike many in the group, I am a pediatric/congenital/fetal cardiologist. I trained in pediatrics at Boston Children's Hospital, did pediatric cardiology fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center in New York, and then went down to DC for an advanced cardiac imaging/fetal cardiology fellowship at Children's National that overlapped with a fellowship in cardiac MRI/CT at the NIH/NHLBI (where I worked with some amazing women cardiac imagers like Su Shanbhag, who will be here this weekend!).
I then spent several years on faculty and as the director of pediatric cardiac MRI and CT at Columbia but more recently became the chief of pediatric cardiology at Atlantic Health System (Morristown Medical Center) in neighboring New Jersey, where I also run a pediatric/ACHD cardiac MRI/CT program that serves patients from across the state.
I am passionate about cardiac CT and particularly about optimizing its (rapidly growing) use in pediatric and congenital heart disease populations.
I have loved the opportunities I've had with SCCT, including serving on the scientific meeting program committee for SCCT 2021 and 2022 and on the JCCT editorial board this past year, and I am very excited to be joining the SCCT board of directors this coming year!
